For marion cotillard brings class and elegance to miss dior handbags forum buzz an actress attending the Cannes Film Festival, a large trunk of gowns is usually necessary packing. From red carpets to photocalls, most tend to follow the same motto: when it doubt, overdress. Marion Cotillard, however, took a different approach while attending the photocall for her new film Ismael’s Ghosts, wearing a pair of red leather, thigh-high Fendi boots, a lace skirt and an oversized Filles à Papa sweatshirt with Prince, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, and George Michael on it, along with the words “Never Forget.”
While Cotillard’s photocall look is refreshing compared to the predictably glamorous Cannes fashion, this isn’t her first time taking a fashion risk during the festival. She started the festival off at the premiere for Ismael's Ghosts on May 17 wearing a very high high-lo, pinstriped gown by Jean Paul Gaultier featuring a corseted top. Later, at the Chopard Trophy party on Monday, Cotillard wore a strapless sequined jumpsuit by Michael Halpern with a (very) long sequined train disguising the suit’s pants.
Though she may not be in Cannes just to show off her distinct style, it's hard not to notice. In a sea of naked dresses (albeit beautiful ones), Cotillard is an edgy, street style champion.
